Vicki Gunvalson Says "No One Needs to 'Look for Dirt" on Kelly Dodd

The OG of The Real Housewives of Orange County reacts to the Arizona trip drama.

Shannon Storms Beador's attempt to repair Kelly Dodd and Vicki Gunvalson's relationship during The Real Housewives of Orange County ladies' wellness retreat has not exactly been going smoothly so far. At first, Kelly and Vicki were keeping their distance from one another. But as the ladies discussed Emily Simpson's wariness of Shannon and Tamra Judge (clip above), some tension broke out between Kelly and Vicki.

Vicki chimed in the conversation about Emily's friendships, saying, "None of us want to be hurt. I don't think any of us have the intention of hurting each other. I think we have good intentions. We're good people."

Kelly didn't agree with Vicki's statement. "You don't have any intentions of hurting each other when you ask for dirt on me?" she said, referring to Vicki saying, "Kelly knows that I know more than I've said," during that night at Tortilla Republic earlier this season.

Vicki said Kelly's comment was "not the truth," but Kelly wasn't having any of it and walked out of the room.

The OG of the RHOC responded to Kelly's claim that she was asking "for dirt" on her during an interview with The Daily Dish after the episode aired. "No one needs to 'look for dirt' on Kelly; she creates her own dirt storm publicly for anyone to see. Kelly is Kelly’s own worst enemy; she needs no help in trashing her own reputation," Vicki said. "Kelly needs to take full responsibility for her own behavior and how she talks too and treats people."

Vicki also underscored the fact that she was not trying to bring up any rumors about Kelly that night at Tortilla Republic. "When I said in the restaurant a few weeks ago that I knew a lot more I wasn’t telling, I was not referring to the train incident," she explained. "Tamra blurted that out, but I had no intention of mentioning that. But as usual, Kelly focused on me rather than the messenger or the source of the rumor."

Vicki previously told The Daily Dish earlier this season that she had high hopes that the Arizona trip would help get her and Kelly to a better place. "Absolutely I was hoping our Arizona trip would get Kelly and I to at least be cordial to one another," she shared. "I have no desire to be BFFs with Kelly again, but like I said at my kitchen table [with Tamra and Shannon], I have no desire to continue to keep this fighting going on, and I have no desire to hurt her."

Will Kelly and Vicki finally be able to move on? We'll have to wait and see when the next episode of RHOC airs Tuesday at 9/8c. Watch a preview, below.
