Kelly Dodd and Rick Leventhal Share Details from the First Time They Met in the Hamptons
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member takes us behind-the-scenes of when she met her fiancé.
We've long known the story of how The Real Housewives of Orange County's Kelly Dodd and fiancé Rick Leventhal met. The two met this past summer at one of his barbecues in the Hamptons while Kelly was staying with fellow Housewife Ramona Singer. In fact, it was Ramona who introduced them, as Kelly recalled at BravoCon 2019: "Rick has a house in the Hamptons and a friend was like, 'Oh my god. There's gonna be tons of dudes there. We've gotta go to this birthday party' that Rick was throwing in the Hamptons; it was his house. So [Ramona] drove me to Rick's house and introduced us."
So while we know all about their meet-cute, we haven't had a chance to see where the two actually met, until now. Kelly shared a look at Rick's Hamptons abode while the two are in New York amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
"This is where I met Mr. Rick Leventhal," Kelly said on Instagram Stories, panning over his pool and deck. "We are at his Hamptons place and it is unbelievable.
Rick pointed out his tiki bar, noting, "I came over here, brought you over here, got you a drink." The two pointed out the exact spot on the deck where they first "started chatting."
"We had a great time; I'm so glad I met you," Kelly said. "This is where the magic happened."
