Mauricio Umansky's Company Pairs With Charity
The Agency (also home to #MDLLA stars James Harris & David Parnes) is helping to build homes for the needy.
L.A.'s The Agency, home to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills husband Mauricio Umansky and Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agents James Harris and David Parnes, has partnered with Giveback Homes for a charitable effort.
Giveback Homes, which is described as "a trusted network of real estate professionals dedicated to creating social change" and The Agency will work together to build homes around the globe while also raising awareness for causes for their "global good movement." Every donation made by a member of Giveback Homes goes directly to building homes—and in less than two years it's raised a staggering $160,000, has built 31 homes in Nicaragua and has had five U.S. Build Days.
“The Agency is extremely excited to partner with Giveback Homes and support their mission to build homes for those in need,” Mauricio, CEO and co-founder of The Agency, says in a statement on their website. “A home provides a strong foundation for families, and we’ve always felt deeply connected to our clients and our pursuit of giving back. This partnership just makes it all official.”
The Agency is the first real estate brokerage to be involved with the campaign. As for their partnership with The Agency, Blake Andrews, Founder of Giveback Home, shares, “The Agency is revolutionizing the real estate industry, and we’re incredibly grateful to have their support. Collaborating with a real estate industry powerhouse like The Agency will help us speed-up the home building and dream making process.”
