Mike Shouhed Defends GF Paulina’s Reaction to MJ’s Comments on Shahs of Sunset

Mike Shouhed appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home on April 24 and during his appearance he addressed an interaction between his girlfriend, Paulina, and Mercedes "MJ" Javid during the Shahs of Sunset episode which aired that same night, in which MJ explained her feelings about Mike's behavior toward Paulina.

The bottom line: Mike defended Paulina's reaction following the conversation with MJ.

"[Paulina] was obviously upset and when you're upset to hear something, sometimes you blow it out of proportion. You got to understand, she's new to the group. I took her away for her birthday and then I leave her alone with my best friend — and then my best friend tries to sabotage my relationship," he said, in part.

Previously MJ spoke to The Daily Dish about her relationship with Paulina: "I don't like her, I love her. She's awesome. She's very open-minded. She's very liberal-minded. She has her own sibling and home life situation, that's very interesting. She's such a great mom. She's a really strong and tough woman."

Mike also took to Instagram to offer an update on where things stand with Paulina today. And, they are still very much together: "I asked God for an angel [and] he gave me 3! Counting my blessings," he said. The tweet seems to refer to Paulina being a mom, thus the three blessings.

Paulina also shared an Instagram about Mike, writing, "I feel like I can conquer the world with one hand when you’re holding the other one."
