Phaedra Parks Says She Has "Never Had Sex" with Boyfriend Medina Islam
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum is about to share some very intimate details about her relationship.
Phaedra Parks has been seeing actor and recording artist Medina Islam for about a year. However, The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum appears to be taking things slow when it comes to her relationship.
In a sneak peek of the upcoming season of Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition, Phaedra shares an eyebrow-raising revelation about her relationship. "Medina and I have never had sex," Phaedra says in the preview.
That appears to be at the heart of one of the couple's biggest issues. "Sometimes I don't know how she feels," Medina says in another sneak peek of the season. "One of my biggest problems is intimacy, not just sex — intimacy, affection, attentiveness."
Improving their communication is one of the things the couple hopes to master during their time on Marriage Boot Camp, as well as figuring out how to make the long distance work (Phaedra lives in Atlanta, while Medina is based in Los Angeles). "We're at Marriage Boot Camp because our relationship might have a few hiccups," Phaedra says in the preview. "I'm definitely an over-achiever because I'm a perfectionist. So I need him to man up."
Phaedra first teased that she had a new man in her life in a July 2019 interview with DailyMailTV that also featured several steamy photos of the two looking cozy in public. The couple met through a mutual friend after Medina sent Phaedra a message through a dating app, which she said she actually didn't see.
Phaedra finally made things Instagram official with Medina with a photo in celebration of his birthday on September 22, 2019.
