More specifically, tensions developed between Kandi and Drew after the latter cast member got emotional at dinner while discussing her legal issues. She eventually became so upset that she stormed away from the table, but rather than chase after her, Kandi joked, "...and scene!"

Kandi later apologized, but that didn't stop her and Drew's castmates from weighing in on the situation during the subsequent episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta After Show on June 23.

Speaking to Sanya and Shereé, Marlo said on the RHOA After Show, "Did y'all notice how fast Drew and Kandi made up about her saying 'and scene'?"

Shereé agreed, noting, "They brushed right over that."

Sanya, meanwhile, explained that she would've been much more offended than Drew was at that moment. As she put it, "Drew had to really feel some kind of way because if that's your friend and you are crying..."

Kenya, who is friends with both Kandi and Drew, also weighed in on the comment on the RHOA After Show. "Kandi and Drew are close, so I just feel like that comment was insensitive of Kandi," she said. "It played down Drew's real feelings."

Though Drew confronted Kandi on RHOA, she also reiterated how upset she was on the RHOA After Show, telling Kandi, "It hurt my feelings because I'm like, again, this is somebody I consider to be a friend. And I felt it was insensitive, so of course I brought it to your attention and told you how it made me feel."

Kandi, meanwhile, insisted that she wasn't trying to be hurtful. "My first instinct was to make the joke ... Honestly, when I said it, I wasn't really thinking much about it. I said 'and scene' and I got up and went to the bathroom." she explained, adding that in spite of that, she "respect[s]" Drew for being so open about her feelings.

Responded Drew, "I just feel like, well, damn. This is my girl. I have your back; have my back, too."

Kandi then admitted that she understood what Drew was saying, adding, "I take my part in being wrong on that one."

At the same time, Kandi also admitted that she thought that Drew was "being a little dramatic."

"I'm dramatic, Kandi," Drew replied, prompting Kandi to note, "Of course. You're not the only one. I can be dramatic at times too, so, you know, I get it. You was going through something ... I didn't mean to minimize your feelings."
