Packed Packed Packed!" she wrote in the post, which featured a series of photos from the event. "I am grateful for all of you. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!"
She concluded the post by showing her love for her late husband and sharing her commitment to continue to honor his legacy. "I LOVE GREGG SO MUCH AND MISS HIM A LOT," Nene said. "I will continue to be strong and celebrate his life."

The original story continues below.
Friends and family gathered for a private memorial service at Nene's Linnethia Lounge in Duluth, Georgia on September 6, according to E! News. Among the attendees were several members of The Real Housewives of Atlanta family, including Kenya Moore, Porsha Williams, Marlo Hampton, Phaedra Parks, Eva Marcille, and Lisa Wu.
Kenya shared photos from the event in her Instagram Stories, below, showing her sitting with Eva, Marlo, and Phaedra as they paid their respects.
Porsha also shared a photo in her Instagram Stories that showed her at the celebration of life with Nene, Shamea Morton, and Phaedra, who also posted a pic from the memorial, honoring Gregg in her caption with lyrics from The Spinners' song "I'll Be Around": "Whenever you call me-I’ll be there, whenever you need me-I’ll be there, I will always be around @neneleakes #RIH @greggleakes."
Nene's fellow RHOA OG Lisa captioned a photo of herself and her younger brother at the event with the hashtag "honoring Gregg."
Gregg and Nene's son Brentt Leakes showed more from inside the memorial in his Instagram Stories, including a large portrait of Gregg on display (photo above). Brentt captioned the video, "Love ya pop."
Brentt previously paid tribute to his father in a post on Instagram on September 3, which featured a series of photos of him and his dad over the years. "Damn I miss my daddy," Brentt wrote in the post. "Rest Up Pop, Love You."
The memorial also featured performances by Keke Wyatt, Yolanda Adams, Kim Burrell, and Le'Andria Johnson, according to ET.
In advance of the celebration of life on Monday, Nene commemorated the occasion by posting a photo on Instagram of her and her husband sharing a kiss. "Today we celebrate you Gregg with love, just the way you wanted it," she wrote in the post.
Nene has been honoring Gregg on her Instagram in the days following his passing, including sharing a romantic video of the couple on September 3 that simply featured a broken heart emoji in the caption.
Gregg passed away on September 1 following a battle with colon cancer. "Today the Leakes family is in deep pain with a broken heart. After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones and wife Nene Leakes," a statement from publicist and family friend Ernest Dukes confirmed at the time. "We ask that you pray for peace and strength over their family & allow them to mourn in private during this very very difficult time."
In the days following Gregg's passing, Nene and her family have received an outpouring of support from fans, loved ones, and members of the Bravo family.
