Did Dina Manzo Go to Teresa Giudice’s Wedding? All the Drama, Explained
Talk of the RHONJ alum and Teresa’s wedding surfaced on April 4’s all-new episode.
Teresa Giudice’s wedding was once again a point of contention on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. This time, as part of the April 4 episode, the drama had to do with series alum Dina Manzo — more specifically, her decision not to attend Teresa and Luis “Louie” Ruelas’ nuptials.
Joe Gorga suggested that the choice had to do with drama involving Louie, but Teresa and Dina’s more recent comments seem to indicate that wasn’t the case. Get the full breakdown below.
Did Dina end up attending Teresa’s wedding?
No. Dina has never directly addressed why she skipped the wedding, but according to Teresa, the RHONJ alum simply didn’t want to be a part of the filmed event. “Once you are on TV and then you aren’t on TV anymore, you don’t want to be in front of the camera,” Teresa said on the Two T’s in a Pod podcast in November. “I totally get it.”
Jacqueline Laurita shared a similar sentiment when asked about Dina’s absence this past February. “She didn’t wanna be on camera. She didn’t wanna film,” Jacqueline shared during her own appearance on Two T’s In A Pod. “They’re totally fine. They’re totally friends. Everything’s fine.”
Where do Dina and Teresa stand today?
Like Jacqueline said, the two are “all good,” according to Teresa. Dina said the same during an Instagram Stories Q&A in November after a fan asked if she and Teresa were “friends again.”
“We were never not friends,” Dina clarified. “Sometimes friendships go [through phases], but in the end, true friendships will always find their way back when the time is right.”
Teresa reiterated that there wasn’t any drama between her and Dina on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in February, revealing that they had even texted that very day.
Additional wedding drama
As fans are aware, Dina wasn’t the only one to skip Teresa’s wedding; Joe and Melissa Gorga also declined attending amid the ongoing family feud. The drama is set to play out as RHONJ Season 13 continues, but at the time of the wedding, Melissa said tensions were simply too high after an “accumulation” of events. “There is something that was the icing on the cake that really hurt us,” Melissa added in an interview with E! News, echoing a comment made by Dolores Catania in a separate interview with the outlet.
“I just think it was a pivotal time for everyone,” Dolores noted, adding that Teresa ultimately “wanted her brother and his family there” and she was “devastated” when they weren’t.
