Forget Happy Eddie — Wendy Osefo’s Husband “Boo-hoo’d” After This Moment with His Daughter

The Osefo family does date night right. Eddie Osefo and Dr. Wendy Osefo recently celebrated Valentine’s Day at a posh restaurant, looking like the picture of coupled-up “Happy” “Ness.”  And when Eddie took his daughter Kamrynn Kapri to a father-daughter dance, the photos were so sweet that we got a little misty-eyed. We weren’t the only ones. 

Though he’s known as “Happy Eddie,” The Real Housewives of Potomac husband had a little cry after the sweet event. When Wendy shared photos and videos from the dance in a February 22 Instagram post, Eddie came clean about his tears. 

“Preschool Prom for baby girl [Kamrynn],” Wendy captioned the post. “Where has the time gone?!” Eddie doesn’t have the answers — but he’s not having it. “The way I boo-hoo’d that day,” he wrote in the caption. “Dad will NEVER EVER be okay with my Princess [Kamrynn] growing up.”

Now that you’ve been warned, grab your hankie and press play on the Instagram post below. The photos of Kamrynn dressed in a sparkling pink tutu dress are nearly too cute to bear. Then Eddie goes ahead and slips a cotton-candy-colored corsage onto her wrist as his daughter looks up at him with love. Who could help but boo-hoo? 

These new photos of Kamrynn Kapri may be the most heart-melting yet. But they’re not the only opportunity we’ve had to appreciate just how adorable she is. When Wendy splashed onto the RHOP scene in 2020, she quickly let Bravo audiences in on her happy home life. 

That year, she threw a unicorn-themed birthday party for Kamrynn, who had just turned 1. And if you haven’t boo-hoo’d enough today, check out what Wendy wrote at the time: 

“To the little girl who has stolen my heart, I loved you even before I saw your face,” she wrote. “Now that I can hold you, everything about you makes my heart smile. The sweetest thing I’ve ever known and the perfect answer to my prayers. Thank you for making these past 365 days one of growth and one of unimaginable love. But more importantly, thank you for choosing me to be your mommy.” 

Whether Eddie likes it or not, Kamrynn is now 3 years old. Last July, the Potomac “princess” celebrated her birthday with a miniature cake, a flower-strewn tiara, and a sea of pink and gold balloons. Where does the time go, indeed.
