What Below Deck Mediterranean Season 5 Alum Jessica More Is Doing Now
Here's what the third stew has been up to since she stopped sailing with Captain Sandy and crew.
In Season 5 of Below Deck Mediterranean, viewers were introduced to Jessica More — the saucy, third stew who joined Captain Sandy Yawn and crew aboard The Wellington as it sailed around Mallorca, Spain.
Things weren't always smooth sailing for Jess, however. She injured her hand, landing her in the hospital, but luckily had support from friend and deckhand, Alex Radcliffe, who had worked with her before and viewed her as "an older sister." She also ended up finding romance on the yacht with Rob Westergaard, the deckhand and former model.
Once The Wellington docked in the finale, it was confirmed that Rob left the ship with Jess and they went to Bali together. But after the show ended, Jess revealed on an episode of The Below Deck Mediterranean Season 5 After Show in October 2020 that their relationship lasted around six months before they split up. "It didn't end on the best note and we're still not in the best place," she shared.
Read on to find out what she is doing now — and what she has been up to in the past few years since The Wellington anchored.
Jessica More worked on yachts after leaving the show
After she hopped off of The Wellington, Jess told Decider in October 2020 that she was still working on boats but as a second stew. "I spent all summer in Sag Harbor," she said. "Now this evening I'm about to get on a new boat that I've been wanting to go on forever."
Just two years later, however, in January 2022, Jess said on an Instagram story that she was "trying to transition out of yachting."
"Yachting served its purpose," she shared. "I got out of debt, I met amazing people, I got on an amazing reality show that gave me an amazing platform, but at this point and phase in my life, it's pretty toxic for me," she said. "I found myself getting stuck in partying and drinking a lot, and dating the wrong men in the industry, and it's just not a good place for me to be in my life."
Jessica More became a mom
Jess announced that she was expecting her first child in a July 2022 Instagram post, receiving the support of her Below Deck Med crew mates, Hannah Ferrier and Alex Radcliffe (just to name a few) in the comments of the post.
In the same month that she announced she was expecting, Jess told Showbiz Cheat Sheet that Charli's father is "not a yachtie" nor a former crew mate. "We're not together but we'll be co-parenting," she said. "He lives in Fort Lauderdale. He'll be a good dad."
Jess gave birth to her daughter, Charli Ella, in October 2022, announcing the birth in a post on her Instagram account. "For once in my life I knew I was exactly where I was destined to be," she wrote in the caption. "Holding you and becoming your mother is a joy and love I didn't know was even possible."

In the time since then, Jess — who currently lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida— has devoted herself to her daughter. She documents all of the super sweet moments in their lives on her Instagram account, including traveling to Mexico and going on beach runs, together. And throughout it all, Jess has continued to express her gratitude for Charli.
"She's the best part of my life," Jess wrote in the caption of an Instagram post from this past May. "I've lived an exciting life that I don't really miss at all. I do miss traveling but that will come in time and I'll be traveling with my BFF Charli."
Jessica More changed careers
Jess also told Showbiz Cheat Sheet in July 2022 that she was making moves to change careers ahead of her daughter's birth. "I'm taking courses now to get my broker's license," she said. "I had my real estate license in L.A. so I'm just going to get my real estate broker's license for Florida."
She additionally told the publication that she is looking forward to settling down in Florida. "There's so much I've done because I didn't have a place here in Fort Lauderdale, so I had to get some stuff out of storage. It's been a lot," she said. "I had to create a home along with figuring out work. It's definitely been stressful. But I'm super blessed, so it all worked out."
Jessica More became an advocate for mental health
In August 2020, Jess told Forbes that she wanted to "finish her anxiety triggers journal and get it published."
Dealing with anxiety, I'm a big advocate of mental health awareness," she said.
Jess frequently posts inspirational quotes on her Instagram account pertaining to her mental health and supporting others, and opens up about her struggles in the captions of the posts.
"Having a child has forced me to have to be open to accepting help or care for others," she wrote in the caption of an Instagram post in March 2023. "I am constantly in appreciation to those helping me on this new journey. It hasn't been an easy one and honestly would be in such a sh-tty place without the kindness that's been given."
