Scheana Shay Hints at Threesome with John Mayer: "My Body Was a Wonderland"
VPR's Scheana Shay shed new light into her alleged "throuple" with the musician.
The cast of Vanderpump Rules has never been shy to spill all the details about their lives and no one is more candid about her love life than Scheana Shay.
In fact, on Vanderpump Rules Season 11, Episode 8, Scheana was just one of the cast members to open up about having had a threesome in the past. And how she worded the confession has fans wondering if she's referencing John Mayer, who she previously revealed she had been in a throuple with many years ago.
We examine the evidence.
Did Scheana Shay have a threesome with John Mayer?
Amid a game of "never have I ever" played during the March 19 episode of Vanderpump Rules, Scheana revealed she had a threesome in her past and noted that “it was with an A-list celebrity.” She never mentioned the person by name but given the hint she dropped, it definitely seemed to hint at John Mayer.
“Once upon a time, my body was a wonderland," she said. "I’ll say that.”
("Your Body is a Wonderland" is, of course, one of John's most famous songs.)

Scheana Shay Admits to Being in a Throuple with John Mayer
While she didn't drop John's name on the recent episode of Vanderpump Rules, she has previously opened up about how she was in a throuple with John and her friend and former roommate, Stacie Adams, aka Stacie the Bartender from The Hills.
Back in 2020, Scheana spilled about the alleged relationship during an appearance on the Flashbacks podcast, noting that she met John in 2008 following his split from Jennifer Aniston. She was working at a party the night they met and “one of his friends comes up and he was like, ‘So, it’s not really like public news yet but John and Jen broke up. He wants your number. Give it to me and I’ll pass it to him.'”
She further detailed the romance and how it affected her friendship with Stacie at that time.
“I was living with Stacie at the time. This went on for about six months. We hung out and we would go to his house in Calabasas, or Hidden Hills, whatever it’s called. It just became, you know, kind of the three of us. We had a little throuple going on," she alleged during the 2020 interview. “I definitely got a little jealous towards the end of it because I knew he liked [Stacie] more and I was like, ‘Wait, I brought you into this and now you’re getting more attention than I’m getting! Like, what’s up with that?' And then even after him and I stopped talking, they continued talking and there were, like, a lot of things.”
We do have a little more evidence that her most recent confession aligns with some past hints she's dropped. On The Daily Dish podcast in February 2020, Scheana made a similar reference to that John Mayer song that seems to stack up in favor of the theory that she was more recently talking about John in the VPR episode.
In that podcast interview, Scheana did tease that she had been involved with the singer/songwriter, sharing, ”My body may be a wonderland."
