Kathryn Dennis Jokes "I'm Back" and Shares Behind-the-Scenes Photos from Friendsgiving
Plus, Southern Charm's Shep Rose and Craig Conover reveal where their friendship with Kathryn stands today.
Fans haven’t seen as much of Kathryn Dennis in Southern Charm Season 8 as they’re used to, but that changed this week.
Teasing the September 1 episode, Kathryn shared behind-the-scenes photos of herself with several of her fellow cast members, along with some solo shots, from their Friendsgiving celebration. “The best news is I’m Backkkkk!” she captioned her Instagram post, in part.
Prior to that, Kathryn had largely been occupied navigating her on-and-off relationship with Chleb Ravenell. In the interim she missed several events including the dog wedding Southern Charm matriarch Patricia Altschul threw for Peaches and Shep Rose’s dog, Lil Craig, as well as a cast trip to Auldbrass.
In a recent interview with The Daily Dish, Shep and Craig Conover opened up about their friendship with Kathryn, noting they “don’t see her that much" and joked that they “can’t help” but notice her when they do.
“I feel really like I want to protect her,” Shep shared. “And she can be really sweet and mild mannered. That’s my favorite version of Kathryn. We don't always see it. And that’s the version I choose to believe in.”
Craig, for his part, referred to Kathryn as a “little sister,” adding that she “comes by the [Sewing Down South] store a lot” and waves to him as she walks by. “I give her a big hug whenever I can,” the Sewing Down South owner offered. “We try to keep that communication going. It takes effort on all of our parts.”
