Lindsay Hubbard Shares an Update on Her Friendship with Ciara Miller After the Austen Kroll Drama
Have the Summer House cast mates fully moved on from the Season 6 drama? Hear Lindsay's take on the matter.
Lindsay Hubbard and Ciara Miller haven't always been the best of friends, but when Southern Charm's Austen Kroll carried on romances with both of them throughout Season 6, the tension between the Summer House cast mates was at an all-time high. They've since hashed things out and remain cordial for the most part, but the way Lindsay sees it, Ciara is still "holding a grudge."
The confession came after she was asked on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen's April 17 episode for her response to Ciara saying she's the "common denominator in everyone's fights."
"I mean, listen, I actually get along with Ciara, and then I watch the show back and I'm like, 'I guess we're not getting along, or I watch her on Watch What Happens Live and I'm like, 'I guess we're not getting along,'" Lindsay explained. "I don't really have an issue with Ciara. I don't know what her issue is with me."
Or perhaps she does. "I think it's still that Austen thing," Lindsay continued. "But, what does not bode well for reality TV is holding a grudge. So, you gotta move on and get over it and, like, come up with something fresh and new ... some people could take some notes on that."
The commentary on her and Ciara's friendship comes just one week after Ciara appeared on WWHL herself. There, she and Paige DeSorbo were asked the following viewer-submitted question: "Last season, you both targeted Lindsay for drinking and partying too much. This season, you both targeted Lindsay for not partying and drinking as much. Why the flip-flop and is it just that you both don’t like Lindsay?"
Paige said she's "never targeted [Lindsay] for anything," while Ciara referenced their Season 6 drama involving Austen. "I did not target her for drinking,” she said. “That was not the subject at hand.”
The two eventually weighed in on Lindsay and Danielle Olivera's falling out as well, with Paige revealing that she was neutral for a while — even after what unfolded at Kyle Cooke's 40th birthday party — but she's since found herself aligning with Danielle's point of view.
"After the party, I was pretty even, but I’m on Danielle’s side,” Paige said, prompting Ciara to agree, adding, "Yeah, I'm on Danielle's side."
