As viewers have seen, Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Tom Sandoval find themselves deep in drama over whether she should have a role in his restaurant with Tom Schwartz. And it has been causing ripple effects in Katie's budding friendship with Ariana Madix, which fans have also been following during Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules.

The tension between Ariana's life partner and her new pal means that it's affecting if they can all hang out with each other. How? Well, fans are getting a preview of that development in the Bravo Insider first look at the October 26 episode of Vanderpump Rules.

In the video, above, Ariana expresses her disappointment over not being able to hang with Katie and Schwartz, along with Sandoval, due to the drama. "It just sucks because having this night planned where Schwartz and Katie were gonna come over and we were gonna test some of these cocktails that I've been working on, and it just feels like now that is not important," she said. Elsewhere, Katie reveals why she "feel[s] bad" about it all.

In the first look at the October 26 episode, above, fans also learn how James Kennedy feels about Raquel Leviss and Lala Kent trying to smooth things over in their relationship as well as Sandoval and Ariana's interesting assessment of Scheana Shay's partner Brock Davies' skills as a bartender.
