Is This the Most "Ridiculous," "Crazy," and "Otherworldly" Last Chance Kitchen Challenge EVER?
Cue all the get "the cluck out of the kitchen" jokes, thanks to Tom Colicchio.
Are any of us surprised that during the Last Chance Kitchen battle pegged to the April 29 episode of Bravo's Top Chef that Tom Colicchio decided to make a "get the cluck out of the kitchen" joke because it was a chicken challenge? Why, of course not! And we wouldn't want it any other way.
Now back to the battle in the Last Chance Kitchen, um, kitchen, the cheftestant eliminated in this week's Top Chef episode faced off against the winner of last week's LCK to try and cook their way back into the game. This challenge saw both chefs butcher and cook a chicken dish in 25 minutes. "Honestly, what was I thinking?" one of the cheftestants proclaims, above, about the poultry-based competition and the choices they made going into it.
If you think this all sounds easy, well, along the way, the terms "ridiculous," "crazy," and "otherworldly" are thrown around to describe the competition.

And tune in next week to see what happens next on Last Chance Kitchen. "Last Chance Kitchen is back. Fifteen acclaimed chefs from all around the country have come here to Portland to compete for the title of Top Chef. For most, their time in the kitchen will be cut short. But before they pack their knives for good, they'll have one last chance to battle it out for a spot back into the competition," the Top Chef head judge and Last Chance Kitchen host, Tom, previously explained. "We all love a comeback story."
