Toya Bush-Harris' New Gig Is Inspired by Her Sons' Very Relatable Struggles
The Married to Medicine mom is here to help parents everywhere.
Toya Bush-Harris is a loving wife, mother of two boys, and fierce friend to her Married to Medicine crew. She's even proven to have a knack for home construction and design by putting the two-story closet, as featured in her new mansion, on the map. But Toya is now taking on a totally new gig that's sure to warm your heart.
Toya just announced on Twitter that she is set to release her very first children's book Sleepyhead Please Go to Bed. "Oooh, I enjoyed that reunion. [I'm going to] enjoy getting these books out really soon," she shared in a video posted on Twitter on January 6. "Yaaaasssss, Married to Medicine reunion and Toya, Sleepyhead Please Go to Bed!"
Sleepyhead Please Go to Bed will be released on January 26, but it's already available for pre-order. The book aims to "motivate your child to dream while sleeping and look forward to a good [night's] rest," according to its description on Amazon.
Toya dedicated the very personal book to her sons Ashton and Avery. "My sons inspired me to write about their struggles with staying in bed and sleeping through the night," she said, according to the book's page on Amazon. "As a mother, I loved every bit of it and wanted to scrapbook every moment."
Toya opened up about the other challenges of raising her sons during an interview with The Daily Dish earlier this season (clip above). "The hardest part about raising my two young boys is that I have one who is very inquisitive. Like, he asks about every. Single. Thing. They're so smart, and we're raising them to be smart," she shared. "Life is challenging right now, and I'm trying to shield them from certain things. But they're very loving; like boys are so good to mothers."
Toya and the rest of the Married to Medicine ladies will be back with more revelations in Part 3 of the Season 6 reunion Sunday at 9/8c. Check out a sneak peek, below.
