As the mother of a young family, Briana Culberson knows the struggle of dining out with little kids. Will the restaurant be accommodating? Will fellow patrons mind? And, perhaps, the biggest concern: Will the tykes be on their best behavior? There are, obviously, a lot of factors to consider, which is why many parents chose to avoid a potential hassle altogether.

However, the Culbersons recently decided to brave the unexpected and took their little ones out to eat for a special occasion.

Briana — daughter of The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Vicki Gunvalson — took to Instagram on June 8 to share some photos from her husband’s 39th birthday dinner at Rustic Chophouse, an upscale eatery located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The carousel included some shots of a delicious-looking charcuterie spread, a few snaps of her two youngest kids, and a cute photo featuring all six family members — most of whom were grinning ear to ear.

Briana’s Sweet Family Photo

“It’s a big deal to get all 6 of us out to dinner, an even bigger deal for everyone to be mostly well behaved and enjoy their food,” she captioned the post. “The even BIGGEST DEAL to document it with a picture via my phone propped up on a stick in the backyard!!”

The photo showed Briana and her husband holding their two youngest children, son Hank and daughter Cora Rose, respectively. Their two oldest kids, sons Owen and Troy, stood next to their parents with big ol' smiles splashed across their faces. It was not only a sweet moment, but also a little amusing, as Hank didn’t look too pleased in the family picture.

“Hanky’s losing his britches and crying because he heard my excursion start and couldn’t understand why I wouldn’t let him get in it,” the mom explained. “But you catch the vibe. We had an amazing night out for Ryan’s bday.”

Briana’s husband shared another family photo taken on the same night; however, his post showed Hank in a much better mood.

“Proof that Hank smiles when not being forced held with a 10-second timer countdown and my favorite two photos from yesterday,” he captioned the Instagram

The Culbersons settle into their new home

The husband and wife tied the knot in 2011, about a year before they welcomed their first child. They lived in Orange County for a brief period and then headed to Oklahoma, where Briana's then Marine-husband was stationed. She and her family then moved to Illinois for a few years, before returning to the Sooner State in early 2023.

The young mom has documented the big move on Instagram, sharing photos and videos of their home renovation and yard updates.

Briana’s family gets a furry addition

A few months after the move, the Culbersons revealed they had expanded their family, once again. And, no, it wasn’t baby No. 5. The addition was an adorable puppy named Lucy.

“The Okie side of the family has doubled in cuteness overnight!” Briana's husband captioned a post of their son and the dog. “Lucy is the first member of our little family farm and she is a Great Pyrenees.”

About two weeks later, Briana revealed they had welcomed a second dog to the family: another Great Pyrenees named Ricky.

"Lucy is in charge and not sure how she feels. He looks like a little badger," she wrote on Instagram. "They’re happier with a buddy."
