Was Bethenny Frankel Too Critical of New 'Wife Julianne Wainstein?
The #RHONY mogul revealed how she reacts to new castmates on #WWHL.
As we saw in Wednesday night's Season 8 premiere of The Real Housewives of New York City, there's a new kid on the block: Julianne "Jules" Wainstein. Never afraid to speak her mind, Bethenny Frankel didn't hold back when it came to sharing her thoughts on the new 'Wife, poking fun at Jules' concept of where her money comes from and commenting on her thinness.
And if you couple that with the fact that Bethenny and Erika Girardi had a bit of a bout over Erika Jayne's music video for "PAINKILLR" this season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, you might think that the Skinnygirl mogul has something against newbies. "[The Real Housewives of] Beverly Hills came to New York, and a lot of the women wanted to say something, and I am often the one who will say what everyone's thinking. So many people had an opinion about the video, and I said what I thought," Bethenny told a caller on Watch What Happens Live Wednesday night (clip above). "I own it."
It sounds like Bethenny's comments about Jules foreshadow a tense relationship between the two this season of RHONY. "And as far as the new girl Jules, we have a little bit of a rocky road," Bethenny said. "Ultimately, we're OK."
However, Bethenny said that she doesn't just reserve her judgment for new girls like Erika and Jules. "But listen, they come in and I say what I think. It doesn't matter whether you're new or old. I have ripped Ramona [Singer] and Luann [de Lesseps]. I've had arguments with everyone, and I have been ripped by Ramona on the Brooklyn Bridge," Bethenny said. "And don't hate the player, hate the game, baby."
Bethenny had a lot to say about Jules on WWHL. Watch her share her first impressions of the new 'Wife, below.
