Ballroom dancing is not for the faint of heart, as we've seen with the uber-competitive Sabrina Strasser and the ladies of Dancing Queens. But the sacrifice and hard work ultimately paid off for Sabrina at the Millennium Dance Competition in the season finale, as she and her partner, Stanislav Kochergin, were crowned the winners.

Six months after the Millennium competition, Sabrina says she’s putting family first. Viewers saw Sabrina's husband, Ronnie, give her an ultimatum of sorts ahead of the final competition — win, or consider cutting back on dance. For Sabrina, Millennium was do or die, and luckily for her, she placed first.

“I think Ronnie realizes I dance to live,” Sabrina said in the finale. “This is my happiness. He loves me for who I am.”

Sabrina and her daughters, Abigail and Chloe, were shown on vacation in New York City’s Times Square in the season finale.

“After Millennium, I worked really hard to focus on Ronnie and family,” Sabruna said in the finale. “But I’m not going to give up dancing. I feel like as a wife, as a mother, that it’s OK to do things for yourself. I can have it all. This is mine, mine, mine.”

Are Sabrina and Stanis Still Competing Together?

Sabrina is still dancing with her partner Stanis to this day. In an interview with The Daily Dish, Sabrina revealed the pair are currently preparing for their next competition, the Manhattan Dance Sport Championship, which takes place June 28 through July 2.

“We still have our quarrels — some bigger than others, some smaller — it’s going to be like that I’m sure forever,” she said.

Sabrina admitted their relationship is a struggle. At one point in their dancing career, the pair took a year-and-a-half break from each other.

The pair also had tension at a competition in Atlanta, when Sabrina made a misstep during the jive and stopped dancing, causing the two to fight outside the ballroom.

“I think that Stanis and I just really butt heads because we are very similar in the sense that we both want control,” Sabrina said. “We both really want to take charge.

The two have been dancing together for 12 years, which she said makes a difference in the level of competition they bring together.

“We’ve been together so long,” Sabrina explained. “It’s almost like you don’t hold back anymore. It’s just a different comfort level when you see a partner that you’ve been with for one or two years. And you see the difference between myself and Stanis and the other partners. You’ll notice that the dynamics are completely different. Stanis and I just don’t care to be nice anymore. We tell it like it is.”

Although there’s no word yet on another season of Dancing Queens, if it happens, Sabrina would “absolutely” want to be on it.

“I’m manifesting season two,” Strasser told Bravo in an interview. “I really, really want to show how we’ve evolved as dancers. I just think people will want to see more dancing. I just hope one day we get to be on Dancing With The Stars as queens and go against each other with the pros, and have kind of a Dancing With The Stars queen edition. That’s my biggest manifestation.”
