Lisa Barlow Reveals the Surprising Reason She Spends $60K on Glam Each Year
"I'm gonna die in glam and draped in diamonds," The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City mom shared. "Those are my things."
On Season 4, Episode 4 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, which aired on September 26, the ladies, who were enjoying a girls' trip at the Trixie Motel, were challenged to do a "drag-inspired makeup competition" and to create their own looks.
After the women dispersed, Lisa Barlow expressed her concern about the situation, considering how heavily she relies on her glam team to do her hair and makeup.
"I spend on average $60,000 a year on glam. I get my makeup done daily. My makeup artist is on retainer," Lisa revealed in an interview. "It's not just when I'm on girls' trips, it's not when I'm hanging out — it's for me to go to the grocery store."
Fast-forward to Part 3 of the RHOSLC reunion, which aired on January 23, and Lisa further explained why she budgets $60,000 a year on her glam squad.

During the reunion, host Andy Cohen asked the Utah mom about her glam situation, relaying a question from a fan who wondered when she last did her own makeup.
"Probably 2019," she answered, causing Heather Gay to chuckle and Andy to respond, "You have a makeup artist on retainer?"
"Every day," Lisa proudly shared. "Every day I have glam. No matter where I'm going I have glam every day."
"Do they touch you up throughout the day?" Andy wondered.
"No ... [it's] glam and go," Lisa responded. "It's what I like."
Then, Angie Katsanevas stepped in with a comment that surprised us. "She also can't see," Angie said.
"Yeah, I actually can't see that great," Lisa explained. "I literally can't see to do my own makeup, like it would kill me."
"Oh? " Andy hilariously responded, seemingly confused at the comment.
"But I don't want to [do my makeup]!" Lisa added, clarifying her position. "I told [my husband] John [Barlow], 'I'm gonna die in glam and draped in diamonds.' Those are my things."

For the sit-down, Lisa rocked several Cartier and Baranof Jewelers silver and diamond bracelets along with numerous Van Cleef & Arpels diamond rings on almost every finger.
