The Shahs of Sunset pal just wants some actual "food," thank you very much!

Just for the record — and, lest she offend anyone in her hometown of Los Angeles — Asa Soltan Rahmati  has no problem with protein shakes. But sometimes, when the Shahs of Sunset pal is fresh off a tough workout, she just wants some food. Can you relate?

On November 6, after urging her followers to vote (yay civic duty!), Asa declared that she had a little side note. Hear her out: "I just had a great workout," she said. "Am I the only one who doesn't want a damn protein shake afterwards? I just want food. I wish sushi places were open this early; or like a yummy, I just want, like, food."

Now, here's her disclaimer: "Don't get me wrong," Asa said. "I love protein shakes — I had one this morning for breakfast. But I'm saying after a really good workout ... I want food, I want some barbecue, some sushi, some kabob, something good!"

For what it's worth, we completely understand. Who hasn't sat at a desk at work, dreaming of lunchtime when it's only 10 in the morning? And how often do those reveries involve green juice or protein shakes? We think Asa's onto something here.
