Jenna Jameson is here to tell you: The Keto diet works. At least, it does for her. As you may know by now, there are those who aren't convinced that the low-carb, high-fat eating plan is all that healthy. But after losing 80 pounds following the diet, Jameson is its biggest champion — and she loves the body she has to show for eating "Savage Cabbage" and Trader Joe's garlic dip between intermittent fasts.
On February 28, the former adult entertainer posted a sexy snap of herself wearing a racy bikini. The two-piece put her toned abs and trim silhouette on full display, and Jameson was sure to give credit where it's due. "Body by #keto," she quipped in her caption. Jameson initially embraced the diet after giving birth to her daughter Batel Lu in 2017, and she's kept her Instagram followers in the loop about her physical transformation. She's also acted as an unofficial spokesperson for the diet, dishing out tips on how to stick to it. Back in April, she gave the lowdown on her day-to-day eats:
"I get a lot of messages asking me what I eat in a day to stay in ketosis," she wrote then. "Well, it’s underwhelming. I am one of those odd people that doesn’t need variety. Every morning I eat the exact same thing. 3 eggs with cheese and an avocado. Lunch is my biggest meal, I always eat arugula salad, grilled asparagus or zucchini with some kind of meat (usually a hamburger patty or grilled chicken) I then snack when ever I feel hungry (usually on almonds or macadamia nuts... sometime cottage cheese) that’s it."
