Sutton Stracke Opens Up About Spending the Holidays Alone at Home: "It's Weird"
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member shared details on experiencing Christmas without her family: "I talked to myself alone a lot."
On the August 3 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Sutton Stracke opened up about spending Christmas at home without her family.
"During Christmas, my children were in Italy with their father," she said in an interview. "It's weird to be alone without any family around you at all. I talked to myself alone a lot. I talked to my animals."
Still, Sutton managed to brighten the holiday with a gift for herself. "I had COVID during Christmas. Nothing better than spending Christmas day alone," she said sarcastically on the show's July 27 episode. "I bought myself a Christmas present. It was a ring. I had to open something on Christmas morning."
Later in that same episode, she explained to Garcelle Beauvais how the holiday experience inspired her to make some changes in her romantic life. "[My kids] were in Italy. I am alone. I just thought, 'Wow, this is my life as a single person,' and I gotta fix that," she said. Later, she elaborated in an interview, "I think it's important for me to put myself out there because it's not fun to be alone. Might as well go on a date. And, also, what else do I have to do?"
