Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Transforms Her Home into a Winter Wonderland
The RHOBH alum shared a peek at her "stunning" holiday tablescapes and her snowy — yes, snowy — Encino yard.
Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is in full holiday mode.
After sharing a somber update on her cancer battle, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum made it clear that her ongoing health issues wouldn't hinder her Christmas celebrations. The accountability coach shared several peeks at her family’s festive outings last week, including a trip to Los Angeles’ Holiday Road — an immersive experience that featured live carolers, face painting, food trucks, a winter market, and larger-than-life installations.
Teddi documented the evening in a series of December 22 Instagram posts that showed her and her husband, Edwin Arroyave, spending quality time with their kids: 11-year-old daughter Slate, 9-year-old son Cruz, and 3-year-old daughter Dove, as well as Teddi’s teenage stepdaughter, Bella Arroyave.
“The only gifts we need this year,” she captioned a family photo. “(Well we’ll also take cancer-free and Dove relaxing with the boyfriend talk).”
Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave reveals her holiday tablescapes: "Nailed it!"
Teddi took to Instagram on the following day to showcase the holiday balloon display and gorgeous tablescapes in her Encino home. The former Beverly Hills ’Wife shared some “before” shots of the adults’ and kids’ tables, which were later transformed by the event-planning company Beebizy.
“We are about to head to Edwin’s family’s for a little pre-Christmas celebration, but Beebizy just arrived and they’re gonna set up our tablescapes for the adult table and the kids' table,” she said in a video, which also showcased her gorgeous Christmas tree. “This is the ‘before,’ just how I had it, but let’s see what they can come up with. I’m pretty excited for what we’re gonna come home to.”
Teddi returned to the platform about an hour later and unveiled the amazing results. She began by highlighting the adults’ table, which had been adorned with a hunter-green runner and a long garland with a few touches of gold. The table setting went perfectly with the home’s cozy yet contemporary interior, as the Beebizy team strayed away from the traditional red-and-green color scheme and opted for something a bit more sleek: white dishware, gold silverware, as well as black chargers with matching napkins.
“Nailed it!” Teddi captioned the clip. “Stunning! [Beebizy] took my vision and made it a reality.”
She then showcased the children’s table, which was a much brighter and more playful version of the adult’s. The setup included a long garland with colorful and sparkly mini Christmas trees placed throughout. There were also a few snowflake and reindeer figurines that complimented the evergreen-shaped plates and gold-toned cups.
“Um this kids’ table is too cute,” she wrote. “I may have to switch my seating assignment.”
Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave brings snow to Los Angeles
But Teddi wasn't done. Shortly after unveiling her tablescapes, the SoCal mom shared a look at her outdoor holiday decor and teased a big transformation.
"Dove is sleeping so we're trying to get everything organized. Guess what's coming?" she said before turning the camera to her son, Cruz.
"The ice, so we can go sledding," he responded.
Teddi had enlisted ice-maker Arctic Glacier to transform her front yard into a winter wonderland. She posted footage of AG staffers using hay bales and an ice machine to create a mini snow slope. Teddi then shared footage of all her family members — including her Grammy-winning dad, John Mellencamp — tubing and sledding on the hill.
She reflected on the festivities in a December 24 Instagram, writing: "From table scapes and balloon displays to snow in LA to some very unexpected facial hair, this is going to be a Christmas to remember."
