This Is How Lisa Vanderpump Shut Down a Troll Who Compared Her Diet to The RHOBH Dog Drama
When Lisa Vanderpump showed off a photo of her beet tartare, an Instagram follower mistook it for beef — then tried to start one.
There are perks to owning several restaurants. For example, any time Lisa Vanderpump wants a bite of Villa Blanca's delicious beet tartare, there's a table at the West Hollywood eatery with her name on it, with some beets ready to go. So on March 23, Lisa stopped by to sample the veggie-packed dish that we've seen her order before on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Now, keep in mind this is beet tartare. But when the Vanderpump Rules boss snapped a photo of the beautifully plated appetizer, which also contains creamy avocados, a follower tried to start, well, a beef.
Upon seeing the dish, the fan wrote, in part: "Lisa Vanderpump I totally love you but why are you so in a panic over all things dog but not concerned about eating cow meat?"
Now, in case you're not caught up on Season 9 of RHOBH, let's just say there's been a lot of drama surrounding a Vanderpump Dogs rescue dog this season. (You can catch up here.) But Lisa didn't pander to the comment.
Instead, she wrote: "Please watch my film The Road to Yulin on Amazon and then maybe you won't disagree." Read more about the touching documentary — which brings awareness to the dog meat trade — here. And to see Lisa talk about about her staunch opposition to Yulin, watch the video above.
