Since leaving New Jersey for her home state of Nevada this summer — via RV, mind you! — Jacqueline Laurita has been living her best life out west, assimilating back to desert culture and getting her son situated in his surroundings. But during a quick 48-hour visit back to Jerz, The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum stopped by her longtime Franklin Lakes home, which has been on the market for nearly six months and is currently priced at $1.75 million. (It has been reported that the couple is facing foreclosure on the property as well.)

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premiere May 5th at 8/9c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

“So weird, guys, I’m here having a coffee at my old house here in Franklin Lakes, so crazy, seeing it all empty, no life here,” she said during the visit with her daughter Ashlee Holmes Malleo and her grandson Cameron. “It’s probably the last time I’ll be here because someone else will be livin’ here. Good memories.”

Ashlee was also feeling sentimental at her childhood home, posting a photo of the family kitchen with the caption, “This morning I had the brilliant idea to go 'home' and take another look inside with my mom,” she wrote. “It was a dumb idea, because we basically had to RE- say goodbye. Needless to say, we were both super emotional.”

Understandably! Jacqueline and Chris bought the house in 2002 and raised their family there for nearly 17 years. For Ashlee, though, one room was will always be the most poignant in her mind… and it’s not the one you might think.

“This kitchen is probably the most important room in that house to me,” she revealed. “It’s the one I will miss the most. Not my bedroom, this one. The most memories took place in that room. I even announced my pregnancy to my parents and brother in that room, and when we first brought Cameron home from the hospital we sat him on that kitchen island first. It’s seen many holidays, and much, MUCH laughter. It’s seen many lectures and life lessons. Friends of mine have been a part of life-changing conversation and late night motivational talks in that kitchen. Late night snack raids. Even though I know that it’s time for the next chapter, I will miss this house for the rest of my life."
