Kathy Wakile Opens Up About Her Rewarding Post-Housewives Job

The talented baker has been busy since leaving RHONJ

Kathy Wakile has been keeping busy since her days as a cast member on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. The RHONJ alum recently sat down with BravoTV.com for a Bravo Insider exclusive Life After Bravo interview, in which she dished all about her successful career in the culinary industry.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey on Peacock and the Bravo app.

At the moment, Kathy is a culinary professor at Remington College in Memphis, Tennessee.

“What I do is teach basic culinary skills to students that can enter into the culinary world, whether that be institutional, or someone that wants to start their own business or wants to get involved in the restaurant business,” said the Garden State mom. “Teaching basic skills in order for them to enter into that whole world and get a job after high school.”

Kathy went on to explain that she’s particularly passionate about the opportunity, as it gives students a chance to pursue a career without a traditional college education.

“It’s a continued education program, which I am loving, because there is not enough of that anymore,” said Kathy. “Not everyone is cut out for college, so this gives a different avenue for students that need a little direction and the restaurant business where people can fit in. So I enjoy that, being in the restaurant business ourselves now.”
