Melissa Gorga Shares New Details About Her “Magazine-Worthy Backyard” and Pool
The Real Housewives New Jersey mom thanked her pool designer for giving her and her family “exactly what we wanted.”
On the Season 13 reunion of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, which aired on May 30, Melissa Gorga revealed that while her family had moved into their new home in November 2022, they were “still doing a lot of work to the outside” of the house.
On June 14, Joe Gorga revealed that work on the outside space was finally complete, noting that the pool was finished by The Pool Boss just in time for Antonia Gorga’s incredible pre-prom party that night.
“We got this done. Let me tell you something, it looks gorgeous,” Joe said in an Instagram Story video as he gave a full look at the incredible pool complete with ledge loungers and four firepits that created a beautiful glow. “Look at these lights. Gorgeous!”
In Joe’s video, we were able to peep a lush grassy area and white pavers between the pool and the house, as well as a covered porch with a mounted television and lots of seating. More recently, we got an even better view of that area as Melissa shared a post that revealed even more details of the enviable space.

“My very good friend happens to be an amazing pool designer […] [The Pool Boss] thank you for giving my family exactly what we wanted,” Melissa captioned an August 9 Instagram post with different views of the backyard and pool, which you can see here.
The images showed a complete look at the rectangular pool, numerous black deck chairs, and two cabana-type “day beds” that Melissa noted were from outdoor furniture retailer The Wickery.
Overhead shots put the full scope of the outdoor area on display, showing how the outdoor patio space features a firepit and conversation area surrounded by beautiful landscaping.
The Pool Boss also shared images of the completed backyard, detailing how the Gorgas’ upper and lower patio areas perfectly flow out to the pool.
“We are so excited to showcase The Affluence at this magazine worthy backyard in Franklin Lakes belonging to [Melissa and Joe],” the company captioned a series of photos. “This entire backyard is screaming [five-star] resort.”

In addition to completing an ideal outdoor space, Melissa and Joe have also recently updated the interior of their home.
In March, Melissa revealed that she had replaced the black fabric chandeliers in the foyer with a new one made of brass and crystals.
“I absolutely love playing with home decor — I always have,” Melissa captioned an Instagram photo that showed off the new light fixture. “Waking up to this beauty is just sooo much better… Luckily I work with the best [Avenue Lighting]!! Love to be able to play around with ideas!! Decor is a process. Sometimes you need to live in the home for a minute to decide what fits perfectly.”
