Melissa Gorga’s New House Is “Finally Finished” — and It’s Now Her “True Vision”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member is “so happy” that her family’s new home is complete after some major changes.
Although Melissa Gorga, Joe Gorga, and their kids moved into their new house in November 2022, The Real Housewives of New Jersey family’s stunning home wasn’t quite complete until now.
On June 24, Melissa shared an Instagram photo of the beautiful new exterior. “Finally finished,” she wrote. “I’m so happy I found Dan [and Plan Architecture, LLC] so that when we could FINALLY resubmit our plans after all the COVID chaos that my true vision for this house could come to life.”
Melissa concluded with a note to her husband, writing, “[Joe,] I know you wanted to kill me but I’m so grateful for you to make this happen so soon after moving in.”
As Melissa’s post shows (click here to see it), the recent exterior changes included remodeling the roof, replacing many of the windows, and painting a new section black.
When an Instagram user chimed in with a concern about the white brick exterior, claiming in a comment, “Painted brick won’t allow brick to breathe and causes structural damage long term,” Melissa was quick to clarify, “[It’s] not painted it’s just white brick - Was hard to find, but we found it!”
Melissa Gorga’s Home Exterior Before the Recent Remodel
Melissa opened up about doing more work to the home on Part 1 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 13 reunion, when host Andy Cohen stated, “People were, like, coming after your design.”
After noting the house was “not even done yet,” and she and Joe were “still doing a lot of work to the outside,” Melissa explained why she is unfazed by comments about their home design. “First of all, I’m the one that has to live there,” she said. “So I don’t care what anybody says.”

Melissa Gorga Shares More Recent Changes to Her House
Back in March, Melissa revealed another big home change: She had replaced the black fabric chandeliers in her foyer with a new one made of brass and crystals.
“I absolutely love playing with home decor — I always have,” Melissa wrote in the caption of an Instagram video showing off her eye-catching new fixture. “Waking up to this beauty is just sooo much better… Luckily I work with the best [Avenue Lighting]!! Love to be able to play around with ideas!! Decor is a process. Sometimes you need to live in the home for a minute to decide what fits perfectly.”
