Luann de Lesseps: Treat Your Guests the Way You Treat Yourself
"My asking about yoga and a massage weren’t meant to make Dorinda feel like an innkeeper."
It’s time for the Housewives’ annual trip to the Bezerkshires, but before we left, we got the yacht, walked bespoke dogs, and had a debate about body sushi…hot or not? Tinsley and Bambi were so cute at the rescue fundraiser, and I’m happy that Tins is getting her mojo back now that she’s settled in NYC. Yet, I’m seeing red flags when it comes to her relationship with Scott. I get it that she doesn’t want to pressure him but at the same time, she deserves to know his intentions. Tinsley’s mother Dale is way more worried than any of us!
Halloween is right around the corner, and Dorinda makes it nice. She loves to decorate and puts her heart into hosting us every year. My asking about yoga and a massage weren’t meant to make Dorinda feel like an innkeeper. When I have friends in my home, I am happy to arrange whatever they ask (within reason), and we always do yoga on our trips. So when Dorinda and the girls acted like it was presumptuous of me to ask, I was surprised! As for getting stuck in the fish room, I stay there EVERY TIME (why?), because the ladies never want to. So, who is the diva here?
Barbara will be joining us on this trip, and I’m not going to get in between her and Dorinda. It’s time for Barb to have her own relationships with the girls and not worry about me. I’m a big girl, and I can handle myself.
Until next week, treat your guests the way you treat yourself.
