Leah McSweeney Defends Her Daughter's Playboy-Themed Nail Art
The Real Housewives of New York City mom called out "prude, small-minded haters" of her daughter's manicure design.
Leah McSweeney is not one to hold back, especially when it comes to fashion and family. The Real Housewives of New York City mom has a fearless sense of style that makes even the most scandalous bodysuits and sheer dresses seem like casual, everyday wear. Leah routinely caps off her bold looks with fabulous manicures that add a bit of bling to her outfits.
It should come as no surprise then that Leah's daughter Kier has inherited her affinity for fabulous nails with playful details. But in a recent Instagram Story, Leah made sure to put critics of her daughter's choice of nail design in their place with a few choice words.
It all started when Leah shared her fancy, Chanel logo-laden talons on Instagram after her manicure. Leah turned to Candy Coated Beauty to create her square-tipped, coffin nails with color-blocked, pink tips and gold designer insignia. The look was over-the-top, fun, and fabulous — just what we would expect from the Married to the Mob designer.
Her daughter Kier also got in on the action with a similarly-shaped, long nail design with petite stars and an itty bitty Playboy bunny motif. Leah fired back at potential critics as only she can by adding, "Yes I let my daughter get playboy bunny nails ya prude, small-minded haters."
Don't mess with this mama bear, especially when it comes to nails.
