Sonja had a very unique reason for calling the RHONY newcomer her "kindred spirit."

Sonja Morgan Is Taking Her Lobsters to Go

On Season 11 of The Real Housewives of New York City, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, and Tinsley Mortimer left Barbara Kavovit's clambake noticeably early, taking a bag full of lobsters with them (relive the buzzed-about moment in the video above). When reflecting on the to-go bag in an interview during the episode, Sonja declared at the time: "I'm not leaving the lobsters. That's who I am. That's just who I am."

Years later, it turns out that another RHONY cast member shares Sonja's sentiments. As Sonja, Ramona, Luann de Lesseps, Leah McSweeney, and Eboni K. Williams concluded their trip to Croteaux Vineyards on the show's May 18 episode, Eboni packed up a few food items in a napkin to take with her.

"You are my kindred spirit," Sonja exclaimed. "I never leave the lobster." With a laugh, Eboni declared, "You can call it whatever you want, it's going in this Birkin, bitch."

Eboni recently opened up about forming a unique connection with her new castmates. "[Sonja, Leah, Ramona, and Luann] you’ve each taught me more about life, womanhood, and myself," she wrote. "No matter what the future holds, we’re forever bonded by our collective effort to put this season together during the most challenging global pandemics of our lifetimes."

"We left it all on the table. ⁣⁣I’m proud of us," she added. "⁣And I’m proud to be a Real Housewife of New York."
