Emily Simpson Spiced Up Her Home with the Most Beautiful Fall Decor (PHOTOS)

The Real Housewives of Orange County mom set up her house for the autumnal season with some stylish pieces.

By Cynthia Robinson

Back in 2020, Emily Simpson flexed her mom muscles by giving her three children an entertaining task: decorating the front yard of their Orange County home for Halloween. When the kids were done setting up the outdoor space for the season, The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member couldn't help but joke about the result.

How to Watch

"I want to show you the front of my house because my kids decorated it for Halloween all by themselves and it is a complete disaster, but they were so excited," Emily said with a laugh in an Instagram Story at the time, showing her yard adorned with paper pumpkins, tombstone props, and skeletons. "It looks like a Halloween clearance rack threw up in my front yard, but it's OK. It is what it is."

This year, to celebrate the autumn season, Emily took it upon herself to pick out the decorations, sharing how she decked out the interior of her home with some beautiful pieces.

On October 16, Emily hopped on her Instagram Stories to share a video of several gorgeous bouquets of yellow, orange, red, and white flowers. "Went to Trader Joe's and bought a bunch of flowers," Emily wrote over the video, which was set to the Flo Rida track "Good Feeling."

"15 minutes later ..." Emily wrote over the following Story which included three photos of how she arranged the florals in clear and white vases, surrounding the centerpieces with beautiful orange and cream-colored faux pumpkins.

On October 18, Emily showed how she decorated the front of her home as well. "Thank you [The Pumpkin Princess Company] for making my house magical," she wrote over an Instagram Story video that showed the variety of pumpkins placed around her front steps and yard.

Emily Simpson’s home renovation update

Speaking of Emily's Orange County home, we caught up with the volunteer attorney in early August when she showed off her in-progress formal living room that was undergoing renovation.  “Will my house ever be done?” she asked in a caption. “I haven’t even started remodeling the kitchen yet. At this point, I think it would be easier to move.”

Though Emily hasn't revealed any plans to move just yet, she's considered the idea before, noting in a 2022 Instagram "Ask Me Anything" session she would move out of California "someday." As for where she and her family would relocate, Emily stated, “Most likely Utah. Maybe Wyoming.”'

For now, however, the mom of three is focused on renovating her California home. In the aforementioned video, Emily showed what the formal living room looked like before the construction process. “It’s that room where you try to keep your kids out of so that they don’t destroy anything,” she said in the clip. “So you have like one nice room in your house.”

Close to that space is another living room, which Emily described was set up as “a great space for the kids and the family to hang out.”
