Shannon Storms Beador is teaming up with her longtime doctor for an unexpected new business venture.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Peacock and the Bravo App.

On Season 17 Episode 13 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Shannon visited Dr. In Eon Moon at the Energy Medicine Center. “Dr. Moon just fixes the energy in my body,” Shannon shared in an interview during the episode, which aired on September 6. “He gets any emotional stuff out and de-jams me.”

While she was lying on the table, Shannon started to talk about a product the two had been working on together. “I wanted to show you stuff about the at-home colonic Sitolonic,” she told the energy medicine specialist. “I took the prototype that you gave me, and I have a consultant developing an improved prototype of the at-home colonic and where it’ll fit like a toilet seat that's a little bit more modern.”

In an interview, Shannon shared more details about her role in the business. “I am doing business with Dr. Moon,” she said with a wink. “I’ve used the Sitolonic for, like, 15 years, but there might have been an issue with the tip.” (To relive the Season 10 moment Shannon was referencing, press play on the video above.) To solve that problem, Shannon explained, “We're gonna have one tip that can’t be taken apart.”

Although she didn’t share when the new-and-improved product would launch, Shannon shared that “within a month or so” she would have “an actual prototype” to show the doctor.

What is a Sitolonic?

According to Energy Medicine Center’s website, “Dr. Moon invented a revolutionary development in colonic irrigation therapy.”

“The Sitolonic allows you to sit up while cleansing your colon,” reads the description. “This advantageous position is not only a more natural eliminating position, it also saves you time by allowing you to simultaneously read, write, compute, or talk on the phone.”

The website also says that “regular use” of the “compact and light” product “can give you a brighter complexion, renewed energy, increased sex drive, and a boosted immune system.”

Why is Shannon Storms Beador launching a new Sitolonic?

In an episode interview, Shannon explained why she was getting into the at-home colonic business. “I am taking the next step to grow my business, because paying for half of one child’s education is enough, but I have three going to school next year,” she said. “Not only are my kids applying to schools that are expensive, they’re in cities that are expensive to live in.” Shannon’s eldest daughter, Sophie, attends Baylor University in Waco, Texas, Stella is a student at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, and Adeline just moved to New York City to attend Parsons School of Design.

“I want to expand my business, but I need to diversify,” Shannon stated. “Am I turning a profit? Not really. I’m kind of breaking even at this point.”

Although it seemed there was plenty of work to be done on the product, Shannon exclaimed to Dr. Moon, “I’m excited to get this out there.”
