Shannon Storms Beador famously took off about 40 pounds in the past year, and had plenty of smoothies along the way. Since she committed to clean eating, The Real Housewives of Orange County mama shared the icy, fruity drinks she was whipping up in the kitchen. And now that the Season 14 reunion is around the corner, Shannon's back at her blender.

In her October 23 Instagram Stories, the QVC entrepreneur said, "I've got the reunion coming up, so I'm going to make a smoothie right now." She added the hashtag "#cruchtime. 

After giving the exact recipe for her healthy concoction, which we'll get to below, Shannon gave a quick disclaimer about the smoothie's look. Spoiler: It's kind of a brown sludge. "Healthy might not always look so pretty," she said. "But, I'm telling you, you've got a little bit of sweet and this is gonna tide me over until dinnertime. And it tastes, to me, really good." 

Want in? You'll need half a banana, large handfuls of baby spinach and baby romaine lettuce, a cucumber, a small handful of frozen blueberries, around five frozen strawberries, lemon juice, ginger juice, a bit of water, and protein powder if you're into it. Toss that all into a blender, and voila!

In the comments, Tamra Judge chimed in with a smoothie tip of her own: "You can add avocados for thickness too."
