Ashley Darby Hosted an Adorable 2nd Birthday for Son Dylan at Her Gorgeous New House
The RHOP cast member and her ex Michael Darby came together to celebrate their son's birthday with a bash that included the coolest cake, incredible balloons, and so many fun activities.
Ashley Darby just celebrated her youngest son's birthday with the sweetest home celebration.
In a February 26 Instagram video, The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member showed that she and her ex Michael Darby came together to celebrate Dylan turning 2 with an incredible party. The bash, which was planned by TWIST Event Planning, appeared to be at Ashley's new Virginia house and included amazing balloon installations by Let’s Get it Poppin’ Balloons, a two-tier cake, a bounce house, a customized ball pit from Fun For Tots, and a setup for the little ones to paint. "The wheels on the bus turned round and round for Dylan’s 2nd birthday!" Ashley captioned her post, referencing the theme of the party. "Thank you all for celebrating with us and bringing so much joy!"
While we got a peek at Ashley's new kitchen and living room on the Season 7 finale of RHOP, her recent post gave a new look at the dining area, backyard, and basement. Ashley, Dylan, and Dean (her and Michael's eldest son) moved into their new home in October 2022. “I am so excited,” Ashley said in an interview during the RHOP episode. “I walked through the door [and] I literally felt like I was at home.”
As viewers know, although Ashley and Michael are going through a divorce, they ended up purchasing the house together using a joint LLC. “At face value, to buy a property with someone who I’m divorcing, yes, that does sound counterintuitive,” Ashley said in an interview. “Just dumb. But I do feel like, financially, it’s a better decision for me.” She added, “I think Michael and I are in agreement that this is Ashley Darby’s property, and Ashley Darby’s property only.”
On Part 1 of the show's Season 7 reunion, she shared, much to Andy Cohen's surprise, that Michael has a key to her home. "For my kids," she explained. "Just in case, like, something happens with my nanny or something like that, he has a key. I have a key to his house too."
"Surprise visits are a no-go," she added. "We have to give each other at least an hour's notice if we want to come see the kids."
