Scheana Shay's Travel Guide to Los Angeles — and the Single "Best Thing About Southern California"

Vanderpump Rules' Scheana Shay knows a thing or two about Southern California — not only does she live and work in Los Angeles, but she also grew up just outside of the city. So if you're looking for ideas for what to do while visiting the area, she's a good gal to ask.

"One of the things I always tell people like if they’ve never been to L.A., especially if the weather’s nice, I love going to the Santa Monica pier," she tells Jet Set (clip above). "That’s one of my favorite things to do."

As well, she suggests, "the Griffith observatory, there’s a lot of good hikes, Malibu’s beautiful."

And the Southern California region offers one thing that few other destinations have: "I grew up just outside of L.A. [and] my whole life I’ve always said you can snowboard and surf on the same day in the right season," she says. "And I think that’s one of the best things about living in Southern California."
