It's Official: Kristen Doute's New Home Is a Fixer Upper
And the Vanderpump Rules entrepreneur isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty in the process.
In case you missed it: Kristen Doute is the latest of the Vanderpump Rules posse to become a home owner. That’s right, she’s joining the ranks of Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix, Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Tom Schwartz, and Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright, all of whom have either purchased or are currently in the process of purchasing new digs.
But unlike Tom and Ariana, whose new $2 million home was move-in ready, Kristen invested in a fixer-upper that is going to require some renovation. And from the looks of the Instagram videos she posted, she’s more than willing to lend a hand… er, hammer.
“Demo Day,” Kristen wrote in one video that showed her attempting to take a wall apart, adding, “([I]t's harder than it looks) (but practice makes perfect).”
However, after putting in some muscle, Kristen had some thoughts. “Guys, I’m think I’m more of a Joanna than a Chip. Damn it!”
We hear you, Kristen. Why do the heavy lifting when you can focus on design and décor instead? Picking out rugs and throws and hanging artwork is way more fun that knocking down walls!
We can’t wait for more reno updates from Kristen, but until then tune into Vanderpump Rules on Mondays at 9/8c.
