You'll Never Believe Why Tom Sandoval Gets Botox Injected Above His Ears
You learn something new from Vanderpump Rules' resident grooming expert every day.
It's no secret that Tom Sandoval might just have the most high-maintenance beauty routine of all the Vanderpump Rules crew. Tom recently broke down his grooming regimen for the Vanderpump Rules Season 7 reunion to The Lookbook, and it included seven steps from clay masks to self-tanner to flat irons.
Now, Tom is sharing a few of the cosmetic procedures he swears by with PopSugar — including a use for Botox that's a new one to us, and we've heard of plenty of Botox stories.
Turns out that Tom isn't big on Botox for forehead wrinkles (unlike many of his fellow SUR-vers). "I personally just like the movement in my forehead. My eyebrows are a very expressive part of my look and my personality, so it's just not something I really do," he said. Instead, Tom's into Botox for his ears.
"Just above my ears, I've done Botox," he told the blog. "When I smile, my ears move up a lot and it keeps my hair from going over my ears. I've done it twice and it lasts for a long time."
If you're trying to figure out whether your ears move when you smile right now, you're not alone.
Besides the occasional Botox appointment, Tom revealed that he loves getting a facial with the skin-tightening radio-frequency procedure called Exilis, he swears by HD powder and sunscreen powder to avoid looking too shiny, and he uses an electric razor called Manscaped, which is exactly what it sounds like.
