Brittany Cartwright's Makeup Artist Shares the Secret to Long-Lasting Makeup
The Vanderpump Rules cast's go-to makeup artist, Jared Lipscomb, reveals how he gets Brittany's beauty look to last all night.
Brittany Cartwright's signature beauty look leans toward full-out glamour: For example, on her wedding day, the Kentucky-born beauty wore lush, inky lashes and a deep berry lip. But even when she's just hanging out with the girls, the Vanderpump Rules wife has been known to paint on a full, gorgeous face.
Needless to say, after all her time spent in front of the makeup mirror, it would be disappointing if Brittany had to reapply her foundation after the first round of cocktails. Luckily, her go-to makeup artist Jared Lipscomb knows exactly how to make products last and last.
In the video above, Jared shares a few of his favorite tips for creating a beauty look that doesn't budge. "One of my favorite tips is to layer, layer, layer ... I love to layer products and set them with a powder," he revealed. Jared went on to recommend using a translucent powder to set foundations, bronzers, and blushers. By using a powder on top of each product, "it's gonna make the application smooth, and last all day," he shared.
Another tip? Use a cream highlighter on the clavicles and the center of the shoulders. "This gives you a glow that looks so perfect," the makeup pro shared. Watch the video above to hear Jared spill his secrets.
