Kristen Doute just proved that she is the spitting image of her mother, Faye.

You may remember seeing the Vanderpump Rules cast member’s mom during Season 7, when the mother-daughter duo joined Stassi Schroeder, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, and their mothers for a dinner that went down in history for being pretty awkward. If you happened to be a little bit distracted by the drama that went down during the episode, you may have failed to notice that the Doute women look very much alike. Luckily, Kristen reminded us in a May 10 Instagram post. 

“Happy momma’s day to this goddess who birthed me,” Kristen wrote in a caption alongside a series of photos of the pair. “Rock on, gold dust woman.” 

The first photo is a selfie Kristen and Faye took, and it really proves that these two beauties could be twins. From their similar smiles to their almost identical dark brown eyes, you can really see the resemblance. 

In the second picture, the mother and daughter are enjoying a super refreshing looking beverage. The third is an illustration of a pin-up girl, which says “some people call me crazy, but I prefer the phrase ‘happy with a twist,’” which makes it seem like Faye and Kristen probably also share a similar sense of humor. 

Kristen’s sweet Mother’s Day post isn’t the first time she’s given her Instagram followers proof that she looks just like her mom. On her birthday in February, Kristen shared a throwback photo from when she was just a kid, where the two are hugging and both dressed in white. Kristen gave her mom credit for her incredible skin, writing, “If you wanna know where my tan came from...this gorgeous woman birthed me 37 years ago.”
