Amanda Says Kyle Needs "Therapy” So He Stops Airing Out Their Issues “on National Television”

Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke are continuing to struggle in their relationship on Summer House Season 8, but the the way Amanda sees it, there's a simple solution for a lot of their problems.
She revealed as much on the Summer House After Show following April 11th's Episode 8, during which Kyle broke down in tears during a night out.

Speaking to Paige DeSorbo on Summer House Season 8, Episode 8, Kyle expressed his desire to feel like he's "on the same page with Amanda."
Paige's suggestion? "Stop being such a f-cking d-ck to her."
"I'm not a d-ck," a defeated Kyle responded before elaborating in a confessional interview. "Look, I know I'm a lot, but I don't want to be sitting there scratching my head wondering if you even like me or if you're bothered by my presence. But that's often how it feels."

Kyle Cries Over Amanda's Lack of Photos of Him
Paige acknowledged that Amanda "starts a lot of things" with Kyle and often throws him "digs," but he replied, "It's not even the digs. I know it's gonna sound ridiculous but last weekend, I was the last one up and her phone was on the sink and I opened it up and there wasn't a single photo of me."
Kyle began to cry at that point, especially as Paige said, "She loves you though, Kyle. You gotta know that."

Amanda Explains Why She Doesn't Have Many Photos of Kyle
On the subsequent episode of the Summer House After Show, Amanda addressed Kyle's complaint about her lack of photos of him. "My phone is full of photos of my dogs," she explained. "[And] when I'm out, I'm not thinking to take my phone out for photos unless someone is like, 'Let me take a photo of you,' or it's on their phone."
"Most of my photo dump stuff isn't even of people, or it's photos other people took of me," Amanda added, noting that she simply likes to "live in the moment" when out and about.
Amanda Calls Out Kyle for Publicly Divulging Their Issues
Later on the Summer House After Show, Amanda criticized Kyle for being so open about their private life. "I think he really needs to go to therapy and talk to someone," she said. "He has so much he needs to vent and get out and I prefer he didn't do it all on national television, because it's not 100 percent accurate. But everyone that watches it holds it against me. It's like, whatever Kyle says is the truth."
