Kyle Makes a Confession About Carl and Lindsay’s Relationship: “She's Gonna Kill Me For This, But..."

Kyle Cooke is a brave man.

In a new clip from the Summer House After Show, the Loverboy businessman sounded off on Lindsay Hubbard's comments that she was "blindsided" by Carl Radke calling off their engagement. He pointed out that the couple, who announced their split in September 2023, were fighting consistently throughout the summer. So much so, he wonders "if she remembers that we filmed."

He acknowledged that he will likely get some heat for sharing his view on the matter, saying, "She's going to kill me for this."

Kyle on Signs Carl and Lindsey Would Split

As Season 8 has progressed, viewers have gotten a front row seat to Lindsay and Carl's "Friday Night Fights." Their arguments became such a pattern during the first two weeks, Carl ultimately opted to stay behind in the city while Lindsay went to the Hamptons with the others — though, at the time, he said he was coming later because he was waiting for a package.

Considering all the drama that has unfolded onscreen, Kyle felt like Lindsay "is going to look like the biggest fool" once the season comes to an end.

"Claiming you were blindsided, claiming you had a great summer, claiming you guys were in a good place ... " he said. "And it just kinda confirms that she's often times living in a different reality.

In his mind, that's "the only way to explain it."

This isn't the first time that Kyle has spoken about Carl and Lindsay's relationship. In a past Season 8 episode, he shared a bit of gossip with Southern Charm's Craig Conover, revealing, "I have been told by people who have been at their apartment that, from the looks of it, it looks like they might be sleeping separately there, too."

Five months out from their split, Carl said,"I sleep really well at night because I really feel like I did, and I tried, my best to make things work."

Was it the best idea to skip a Friday to avoid a fight? Probably not. But even Lindsay admitted that she "welcomed a break" from the discord.

"Because we are like, on top of each other, spending so much time together, living in the city, living in the Hamptons," she explained to Gabby Prescod. "I was like, almost relieved to have a break."

As for what Carl got up to on that Friday night, he revealed that he went to his mother's house in New Jersey.
