Season 8 is bringing new friends, familiar faces, and a whole lot of drama.

By Laura Rosenfeld

Get ready for an unprecedented season of Married to Medicine when the series returns for Season 8 on Sunday, March 7 at 9/8c.

How to Watch

Watch Married to Medicine now streaming on Peacock and the Bravo App.

There will be a whole lot of new in the upcoming season of Married to Medicine as we'll be introduced to new cast member Anila Sajja. Anila joins the group as Toya Bush-Harris' bestie and wife to ocular surgeon, Dr. Kiran Sajja. However, this mother of two is "not just a doctor's wife," according to the above trailer for Season 8 of Married to Medicine; she is also a fashion blogger who, as you can see, really knows how to have a good time, too. Unfortunately, it looks like Anila and Dr. Heavenly Kimes won't become fast friends as the Married to Medicine newcomer gets to know the rest of the crew.

However, we won't just be meeting new friends in Season 8 of Married to Medicine; we'll also be welcoming back some familiar faces with the return of Lisa Nicole Cloud and Kari Wells. Let's just say it looks like not everyone is going to give them the warmest welcome back.

As Quad Webb renews some friendships and cuts others off completely, other longtime friendships will continue to be tested in the new season. Namely, Dr. Jackie Walters and Dr. Simone Whitmore are still trying to get their relationship back on track after their fallout that was first mentioned at the Season 7 reunion.

Of course, the ladies' marriages will also be put under the microscope in Season 8 with some renewed tension between Dr. Contessa Metcalfe and her husband, Dr. Scott Metcalfe.

But as much as there is drama in the new season of Married to Medicine, there is also unity when the group comes together to serve as medical advisors at the March on Washington, which took place in August 2020. "This is the most significant medical mission we've ever done," Dr. Jackie shares in the above trailer.

See everything Season 8 of Married to Medicine has in store, above.
