So, This Is What Bobbi Brown Has Been Up To Since Leaving Her Company
This goes way beyond makeup.
Bobbi Brown spent 25 years teaching women how to do easy, natural makeup looks for every day, and she built a huge beauty empire in the process. But last December, Bobbi left her namesake brand behind to start a new chapter.
This week, we finally know what Bobbi's been up to these past few months. Department store Lord & Taylor is launching JustBobbi concept shops at select locations across the country and online. It's basically a one-stop shop to live like Bobbi herself, right down to her favorite Hudson jeans and Bkr glass water bottles.
"I'm thrilled to partner with a store as iconic as Lord & Taylor as I embark on this new chapter with justBOBBI," Bobbi said in a press release. "It's the perfect opportunity to share my insight, knowledge and passion with consumers and help revolutionize the way we experience beauty and wellness."
Bobbi's been on a big wellness bent lately — her new book is called Beauty From the Inside Out — so her JustBobbi concept shop stocks Super Elixir and Dr. Frank Lipman supplements along with Bobbi-approved beauty products like Dyson hair dryers and NuFace facial toning devices. If you want to dress like Bobbi, you'll find T-shirts by n:Philanthropy, Theory jackets, and Sperry socks.
The shops will pop-up in four New York-area Lord & Taylor locations, according to WWD, including the Manhattan flagship, Garden City, Westchester, and Stamford, along with an outpost in Oak Brook, Ilinois, (Brown’s hometown). In addition to online shopping, Lord & Taylor is also going to produce livestreams, videos, and digital content with Bobbi. Glad to see that Bobbi landed on her feet and that we'll be seeing much more of her in the next few months.
