Or as his husband, Bobby Boyd, told him, “You’re a real cranky bitch these days.” True love means being able to keep it real, and these two are pros at just that. In this week’s episode, Bobby surprises Josh in his office with a Himalayan salt lamp. “Do you know what it does?” says Bobby. “It helps your allergies AND it improves your mood. As soon as I saw that side effect, I was like, 'I’m getting Josh a whole room full of these.'”

And to be honest, he’s right! Salt lamps are huge right now — just like weighted blankets — because they’re found to be super calming and help you sleep better.

What are they exactly? In shades of soft pink and melon, salt lamps are chiseled blocks of salt crystal with a light bulb inside. The salt absorbs water molecules from the air, along with particles like mold, pollen, and pet dander trapped in those molecules. While the heat from the bulb evaporates the water, it’s believed the pollutants remain trapped in the salt. Then as the salt dries, it’s able to absorb more water and continue the process of cleaning the air. A bonus feature: The beautiful pinkish-orange glow is incredibly soothing.
