More than three years after exiting Southern Charmthe French-born businesswoman has continued to make waves within the design world — and it’s clear she has no intentions of slowing down. On Thursday, October 26, Naomie took to Instagram to tease an exciting project that appears to be in the early stages. Although she didn’t provide details on what she had in store, Naomie confirmed the undertaking involved gorgeous textiles.

“Picking out fabric samples for a dream come true project,” she captioned a Story that featured fabric swatches in various colors and textures.

Naomie Olindo's Career Journey

Naomie made her Bravo debut back in 2016, shortly after she began dating Southern Charm OG Craig Conover. Throughout her time on the series, fans got an inside look at Naomie’s ambitious career journey and the launch of L’Abeye — a fashion brand/online boutique she founded in 2018.

Since then, the College of Charleston graduate has expanded the company with accessories, footwear, and an in-house womenswear line that includes everything from formal dresses and knitwear to jumpsuits and blouses. She spoke about the venture in an interview with Mestiza New York, explaining the inspiration behind the L’Abeye name and her overall vision for the brand.

“My cousin got married in a small French village and the welcome party was in the most beautiful abbey with a cherry orchard. I felt so inspired there,” she said. “In French, an abbey is spelled ‘une abbaye’ — I loved the way it sounded but wanted a new, made up word (hello, Trademark) so I mixed it with the word ‘une abeille’ which means a bee. I went with my gut and didn’t overthink the name — just knew I needed something original and liked that it sounded French like my roots!”

After a brief stay in New York City, Naomie returned to South Carolina in 2021, about four years after she and Craig called it quits. She has since purchased a gorgeous Charleston home that is just as chic as her wardrobe. She showed off the digs in a series of Instagram photos that highlighted her spacious porch and charming living room.

Naomie has also kept in touch with former and current Southern Charm-ers, like Chelsea MeissnerOlivia Flowers, and Shep Rose. The latter spoke about his relationship with Naomie in a recent interview with the Daily Dish.

“I saw Naomie recently. She came over and gave a big hug,” he revealed. “And we talk[ed] and she was very honest with me about some things in her life, which I appreciate, [which] I love. ’Cause that’s what I consider friendship [to be], so I was pleased to see her in that manner.”
