Alexia Nepola Shares a Sweet Update on Her Son Frankie
The RHOM mom gushed over her youngest child in a heartwarming Instagram post.
Alexia Nepola has plenty of reasons to smile; however, no one can make her beam quite like her youngest child.
After returning from a European vacation, The Real Housewives of Miami mom shared a quick and heartwarming update on her 26-year-old son, Frankie Rosello. Alexia posted an Instagram photo of her and the young man dressed to the nines as they posed side-by-side in front of a pool.
“No one makes me smile like you do [Frankie],” she captioned the October 5 post.
The Instagram received hundreds of likes and dozens of comments from fans, friends, and Alexia’s fellow Bravolebrities. RHOM’s Larsa Pippen, Marysol Patton, and Kiki Barth left heart and smiley emojis, while The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice commented, “This makes me smile.”
Alexia Nepola's Family Life
The update came as Alexia prepares for the RHOM Season 6 premiere, airing November 1 on Bravo. The upcoming season will shed more light on Alexia’s home life and the rumors surrounding her and her husband, Todd Nepola, a real estate guru whom she wed in 2021.
The union marked Todd's second marriage and the Miami Wife's third. In 1992, she tied the knot with Pedro Rosello, the father of Frankie and her oldest son, Peter Rosello. The two ultimately separated in 1996 after four years of marriage. Alexia would go on to marry Herman Echevarria in 2004, but split from the businessman in 2015, about a year before his unexpected death.
Alexia Nepola says she "will never recover" from Frankie's car accident
RHOM Season 5 explored Alexia’s changing family dynamics as well as Frankie’s journey toward more independence. The Miami son was left with severe brain damage in 2011 as a result of a near-fatal car accident. The RHOM cast member reflected on her son’s condition in an emotional Instagram earlier this year.
“I am doing this post today because a topic on our show addresses Frankie and I want the truth to be told from my voice,” she wrote in the February 16 post. “I will never recover from Frankie’s accident. It’s only my wish that he can continue to improve in time, and he can be as ‘normal and productive’ as his limitations allow. I will never accept the loss of my dreams for him, and I will never give up on him or Peter. Our pain is so deep.”
Alexia Nepola shares an update on her oldest son, Peter Rosello
Less than two months after the heartbreaking post, Alexia returned to Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen alongside Frankie. At one point during the April 3 episode, the self-proclaimed “Cuban Barbie” provided an update on her oldest son, Peter Rosello.
“Peter’s doing great, and our relationship is amazing. It always has been, but, you know, I’m always going to be his mom,” she said, before referencing his recent breakup. “I’m gonna always have something to say and protect him and give him good advice. And like I said at the end, moms are always right.”
