What happened to Cat Baugh on Below Deck?
Elsewhere in the clip above, Barbie mentions how the crew is doing well handling all their duties, considering the Episode 7 exit of crew members Jared Woodin and Cat Baugh. "What we're doing with two men down is crazy," Barbie says.
Just ICYMI: While Captain Kerry Titheradge fired Jared for his shortcomings as a bosun and his behavior during crew nights out, Cat left on her own terms for personal reasons, focusing on her mental well-being.
"My number one job is to take care of my crew and their health," Kerry said in a confessional interview from the episode aired on March 18. "I'm well aware of mental health. She's got to go, now."
Cat, for her part, explained her departure in her final interview.
"I wish I could have stayed. But, the thing is, there's no way I could have," Cat stated. "This is too much. I need to be with the people [who] need me, and also, on this boat, I'm at a breaking point. I need to protect my mental health. It's like my support system is at home, not here."
