When Kate Chastain climbed aboard the Ohana in Season 2 of Below Deck, she was the new chief stew after Adrienne Gang kicked off the series in that position in Season 1. Since Adrienne still watches the show today, you might think that she would have some opinions on how Kate is keeping the interior in shipshape on Below Deck these days.

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck on Peacock and the Bravo App.

But if she does, she's not revealing them. "My mother told me if I don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all," Adrienne told The Daily Dish when asked for her thoughts on Kate as chief stew on the show.

Adrienne said she and Kate have never met, but she did acknowledge that there are parallels between her time on Below Deck and Kate's in that their interactions with other women on the boat have been a topic of conversation among their respective yachties. The Honor crew wondered if Adrienne was a lesbian after thinking that she seemed flirty around a group of female charter guests in Season 1, who she said she still remains friends with to this day. Kate set sail this season of Below Deck with a girlfriend who later joined the crew for some fun in the sun.

Is Adrienne a Chameleon or a Lesbian?

However, Adrienne said that she also sees a difference in how their respective crew members reacted to each situation."I still think that after that experience I was really put off by some of the responses, especially more from my crew members more than anything else because they were using the term 'lesbian' as an insult. It should never be used as an insult. [Kate]’s free to do whatever she wants. She’s her own person. I don’t judge her for any of that. I think that if that’s what she wants to do, do it," Adrienne explained. "As far as how that compares to what I went through, I think it was unfair. But whatever, there’s nothing that I can do to change it now," she added. "I am a really fun, excitable person that was in an extremely stressful situation, and by the end of the season, it was nice to have a fun group of people on board that were actually pretty easy to get along with. It wouldn’t matter to me if they were lesbians or if they were Democrats or if they were blue. It doesn’t matter to me. If they’re fun people that treat us well, then why not enjoy it?"

And enjoy herself she did. Watch Adrienne let her hair down and let loose, below.
